These individual classes are perfect for beginners who want a productive learning experience without having to wait for assistance in group classes.
The lessons can be tailored to your interests, level of experience, and what you are applying these skills towards.

Some classes (listed as workshops) will require more than one session and a minimum of 5-10hrs because of the involved nature of the techniques being taught.
The full session is reflected in the price, but it can be split up into smaller time blocks. Discounts are offered to individuals booking additional sessions.
Materials will be provided for most classes/workshops, but bringing your own is encouraged.

An introductory class for beginner sewers interested in focusing on clothing repair.
OPTIONAL: Bring in your own projects to work on and learn to best way to repair your favorite items.
Some sewing experience needed for classes below
Beginning class that teaches how to use an industrial straight stitch machine.
We will create samples using a variety of fabrics and thread weights, and learn to adjust the machine for proper tension.
Textiles & Crafts
Weaving workshop that is split in two 5-hour sessions in learning the basics of weaving and creating your own piece using provided materials or your favorite yarns.
The first session will be dedicated to instruction, learning to basics of weaving on a floor loom, and dressing the loom for weaving. In the second session you will be able to finish your piece. The price includes two sessions.
Bring in your favorite small items you always wanted to see polished in metal for this 6-hour workshop. We will learn how electroforming (copper plating) works and will do the entire process from beginning to end.
If you are interested in learning about patinas and ways of creating a finished product with electroformed objects you can book an additional session.
